Demetrios Gabriel & Why Kids Need Milk

By Katie Arden

Milk is one of those products that I feel as though more children should be able to take in. To me, it's a product that is wonderful for the purpose of attaining calcium but certainly there has to be more to the product than this, right? You would be correct, as milk contains a number of other benefits that most people may overlook. Demetrios Gabriel will be able to help you out on the matter, as here are 3 benefits of this product that the best medical authorities can attest to.

1. Milk is needed at the onset in order to build strong bones. This one is easily the most obvious when concerning milk but I am surprised by how much this particular product is overlooked. With that said, Demetrios Gabriel can tell you that the calcium found in milk is useful in keeping bones, including teeth, strong and healthy over the course of time. Without milk being included in our diets, medical authorities such as Gabriel Pediatrics can state that our bones may become softer and, as a result, more prone to breakage.

2. Milk is surprisingly effective in keeping the body hydrated. You may not believe this to be true, especially when water is typically seen as a better alternative for the sake of rehydration. While there is truth to this, milk should not be discredited, especially when you consider that this particular product still contains water molecules that can keep the body hydrated for much longer. The number of healthy vitamins included in milk is another aspect that only helps to make milk stand out that much more.

3. If you are looking to improve your skin in the long term, milk is a difficult product to overlook. Lactic acid is able to help in the way of skin care, bringing a sense of glow to it that might have been lost. In addition, the usage of milk can allow the skin to become smoother to the touch, which is another point that is tough to overlook. Along with the many antioxidants associated with milk, your skin will fare much better against the potential environmental impact brought to the skin.

Of course, people may be more focused on the idea of calcium, which is an important nutrient that is not found in many foods. What if someone does not care for milk, then? They are not without other choices, though, as such foods as yogurt, cheese, and even soybeans contain this nutrient in high amounts. However, if you want to attain the other benefits listed before, you are going to want to stick with milk, making sure that it is included in your regimen in the long term.
